Weight
gain takes place when the intake of calories exceeds the normal calorie requirement

compared to fruits, dairy products and nuts, fresh vegetables are less considered
to get calorie. But, among
vegetables, still, there is a scope to gain a considerable amount of calories
and carbohydrates. For instance, potato is one of the best sources to gain carbohydrates
and calories for the body. Beetroot is also a
good option to gain calories. Besides, you can eat vegetables like pea, carrots,

Nuts are generally considered as a good source of protein, fat,
fiber and calories. The calorie content of nuts on an average is 150 to 200. The
nuts which are rich with calorie content are almonds,
pistachios, macadamia etc. Depending upon one’s preferences, one can eat either
plain, salted or roasted nuts. Besides this, one can get nuts coated with
layers of chocolates as well.
